Words are the main form of communication between humans. They help establish a sense of understanding between individuals. However, the way words are defined vary according to each person. This is because of their particular upbringing, and/or events that have occurred in their life to alter their understanding of said term. With this in mind, it is very difficult (or even impossible) to know how certain words will impact others. Whether seen with little meaning or great significance, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and feelings as to what context words should be used in.
I have created this blog to share my knowledge and opinions with the people of the world. Originally, my intention was to take my written assignments and share them using social media. After a while, I realized that I have a lot more to share than essays.

How Should Parents Raise Their Children?
There is no set agenda to how a parent is supposed to set regulations for their children. The only case in which such an idea is legitimate is if there are particular outcomes a parent is trying to avoid for their child. Setting rules without the proper explanation towards how they help the child long term will only make them feel like they would have to sneak around. The method of regulation may even make the child feel that breaking said rules will punish them throughout their lifetime. The adequate key to parenting is not in keeping children in line, but in giving them standards to become decent adults. The main point of setting limits, nevertheless, is showing your attentiveness and care in what the subject is doing with their life.

A Memoir: The Boy With The Tablet
The Stunned and the Drenched
Before I came to Williamstown, I lived in a city known as Clarkston in east Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta is different from New Jersey in a lot of ways. One of the biggest differences I’ve noticed in that area was the amount of diverse cultures embraced. Considering nationalities exposed out there, it gave everyone the opportunity to embrace each other’s customs and establish a peaceful environment. On the contrary, it also gave the opportunity for the worst of customs to exposed.

How to Make a Movie: My Essay From TV Production Class
Top gun was the movie we were watching as a reference to the elements needed to make certain types of films. I don't know how it ended because the teacher never let us finish since we were playing around too much. I don't even think we made it passed the part when they were singing in the bar. With this in mind, we were all very confused as to why she named the assignment after a movie we barely watched. Basically, we had to describe all possible necessities to producing for television or movies with at least 500 words. Enjoy! (And in case you were wondering, The paper passed with a 98). ^_^

National Anthem (Short Story)
National Anthem
The most unique feature to a person is their eyes. If no two snowflakes are the same, then no two perceptions of those snowflakes can resemble either. But for the longest time Nemo felt as if nothing matters, living every numb day with apathy. He kept to himself, because there was nobody else worthy of knowing how he felt. The only thing that Nemo looks forward to is the blissful sensation of drowning into his sleep, drifting away from everything. Unfortunately, he could not sleep in class with his badgering peers reciting any thoughts that came to their mind. Their banter was irritatingly loud. He couldn’t hear the alert on the intercom about the scentless gas leak from the laboratory from a defective experiment.

Life Span can be Determined by DNA
In biology class last November, I had to choose an article that was relevant to what we were learning in class and write a topic paper from it. So I went to sciencenews.org and found an article about how DNA could determine how long a person lives. I found it really interesting how a person can be born with the ability to live past the average oldest age, and we were learning about DNA, so it was perfect. Here is an exert of the paper:
"...Genes are responsible for approximately 20-30% of a person’s probability of living to
the age of 85. That percentage, regardless of its minor probability, can still make a difference on
how long you live despite their physical condition. Most of the statistics that establish how long
a person lives is based on their health and lifestyle choices. Studies show that diseases, such as
diabetes (86%), obesity (44%), and high blood pressure (28%), increased a person’s chance of
dying before the age of 90. These are a number of examples of genetic diseases that are known
as multifactorial inheritance disorders."

Kabalarians, Essenes, and Sufis (Catalyst of the Abraham Religions)
{This is one of my old essays I did from the 8th grade. I did some research on the Kabalarians, the Sufis, and the Essenes. I learned a lot from what I found, and I hope you enjoy my paper. Share your opinions and comments on the topic(s) that interest you from the essay. I'd be happy to hear them.}

The Big Question
There comes a time in a person’s life when they have to ask themselves, “who am I?” and, “what do I want in life?” For some people, this could be one of the trickiest questions to answer (hence the reason people must answer this during particular job interviews). As for me, I have a counter question: “what makes you who you are enough to even answer such a question?” Are you - as your own being - suppose to know instinctively and have a fluid answer, or is it easier to answer from a third person point of view? I often wonder if I am just indecisive and can’t figure out who I am.

Diabetes and Hypertension (info & treatments)

Abraham Hicks and the Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction, also known as The Secret, is one of the many theories to life and how things work. The theory is basically that whatever you think about, whether it's a positive or negative thought, you are attracting and and it will become a apart of your life. This belief is not well known to the public, however many people know of this and take note of what they think and how they feel in order to be happy with who they are and what they do with their lives.
The Balance of Security and Courage
“Gumption” written by Langston Hughes, is based on two opposing opinions expressed
by Oyster and Sylvester, who is the narrator. Sylvester’s wife Clara, is telling her friends
about how Oyster, a man who was well known in the town, was incarcerated for assaulting a
government official. Oyster’s son was a journalist who was applying for a position at the local
newspaper; he was not accepted due to the color of his skin, when he clearly qualified for the
job. In response to what happened to his son, Oyster goes to the town hall to request that
he receives the position Oyster feels he rightfully deserves. Oyster is consequently arrested
for getting into a physical altercation with the guard. Afterwards, Oyster’s son is arrested for
attempting to defend his father. After quite a while in jail, the father and son were released.
Although they had gained their freedom, their lives had lost order. Due to the length of time
they were confined, they no longer had a home. Oyster also lost his job over the length of time
and with their new criminal records, it became even more difficult for them to find work.
The Placebo Effect
The placebo effect is a therapy in which pharmacies and/or doctors influence patients to
believe they are being provided with medical care, when there is barely anything done tothem at all. The most popular form of placebo is the sugar pill. These pills have basically no
effective ingredients towards the patients dis-ease. Other placebo effects are carried out by fake surgeries injections, and more.
