Subgenre PBR&B: Music For Hip Romantics

So there's this new label for music (new to me) that caught my attention called PBR&B. It's a genre in music that is heavily coated with copious amounts of smooth Peanut Butter.

Not really. It really stands for Pabst Blue Ribbon... Rhythm And Blues. The name comes from the stereotypical favoring of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer from hipsters. This derivative of R&B is also known as alternative or hipster R&B. Could be derogatory. Most think so. It's a little clever, but not clever enough.

The Philosophy Of Existence: How Do You See The World?

I personally do not prefer the use of labels to identify people and the depth of their being, but in some instances it can be very helpful to determine the type of person you are by what you choose to define yourself as. This can either be beneficial or detrimental to interacting with others, which is why it is common for people to avoid the topics of religion and politics in general conversation. But every once in a while, I would contemplate the art of perception, or how the things around me exist. The conclusions can be overwhelming, but that's normally what happens when you let go of complacent mentalities of any form.

Mind Blowing Music (1): With My Eyes Closed

Hey people. So this is where I share the latest songs (by exposure to my life and not necessarily by release date) I think are worth listening to. This is kind of like my first series of playlists, "Songs I've had suck in my head for days," but I wanted to change the title because this makes the songs seem a lot more intriguing, and less like... gum inflicted in your sutures or something. But ultimately, it's the same concept. Sing along if you know the words. ^_^

How to Make a Movie: My Essay From TV Production Class

Top gun was the movie we were watching as a reference to the elements needed to make certain types of films. I don't know how it ended because the teacher never let us finish since we were playing around too much. I don't even think we made it passed the part when they were singing in the bar. With this in mind, we were all very confused as to why she named the assignment after a movie we barely watched. Basically, we had to describe all possible necessities to producing for television or movies with at least 500 words. Enjoy! (And in case you were wondering, The paper passed with a 98). ^_^
